Our new stables

We are very proud to show you our in 2005 new built stables. Which are very beautifully located on the feet of the Dikti mountains giving it an excellent view over the valley of Avdou. The stables lie quietly in the middle of protected "Kerm Oak" forest. And 100 meters from the nature reserve "Natura 2000".

Horse friendly stables

Space, outside air and contact with other horses that is what gives horses joy, health and peace!
 That is why not only enjoy our horses a large stable with an open turnout paddock but also do they have the possibility for social contact. As most of our horses are stabled in pairs in 1 large stable 6,20 x 3,20 m. And the separations in between these stables are half open.

The roof all around is open giving the horses a constant flow of fresh air. Also the top op the roof has an open construction leaving hot air to travel out.
But non of this all can replace the freedom of the pasture so this is where they spend a lot of their time.
 

High quality facilities

On 4 hectares of land we built the stables by using natural materials like stones and wood. The stones used are the actual stones from the land it is built on. The stables are designed in a way they are as close as possible to the physical needs of horses. The stables  include:
- 15 stables with connected behind turnout paddocks giving the horses them self the choose to go inside or outside.
- Outdoor arena, 42 x 20 meters with an all-weather proof floor and a small tribune.
- Outdoor arena, 15 x 12 meter, for lunging.
- Tackroom
- Pasture
- A horse shower
- Bathroom/changing-room and toilets for the guests

We have high standards for our horses and equipment.
